 Introduction
"Roppongi de Lunch" started as lunch review website of Roppongi, where
was office working place of Yurico, a gourmet lover and the site's admininstrator
in 2000.
After that, I have moved from here, while came back in 2004. So I attempted
to renew the site with a restaurant search engine, and something like that for
visitor's convenience. You can look for it not only lunch but dinner.
Roppongi has changed while my absence. Roppongi Hills opened and now is under
the construction of "Tokyo
Midtown Project", with a 54 Storey building, The Ritz Carlton Hotel ,
The Suntory Museum, and etc.
I am working for a website director in a section of an company, and have private
work as manager of e-food, an award winning website
about information foods of all the world. I'm alway thinking Roppongi is the one
of best place to dining out in Tokyo. It has various countries' foods, high sense
and easy to walk.
For example, recently "Arpan", a vegetarian Indian restaurant, "Roskaya
Troika", a Russian home cooking restaurant from Futakotamagawa and "Haiti",
an Haitian restaurant by Haitian chef opened here.
I am happy if you feel an other charm of Roppongi but as a firm superb gourmet
town not as lavish, dirty night town thru this website.

Selection
The restaurant selection of "Roppongi de Lunch"is tried to make the
most of the characteristics as a international town Roppongi of Minato-ku where
an embassy concentrates.
According to my "Tokyo World Cuisine Restaurant
Search", there are 150 world cuisine restaurants in Roppongi, Nishiazabu
or Azabujuban area. The tremendous number of restaurants put together here if
added Japanese or Chinese restaurants in it. I especially want to see to the movement
of the world cuisine's from the above reason.
But I won't be made "Roppongi de Lunch" for only a world cusine site.
In here, restaurants are so sophisticated with high cost performance for severe
survivals in any genre.
Now I think about "identity" of restaurans or foods as a choosing
point. And within 1000 yen for one lunch generally. Some high quality (and expensive)
restaurants prepare reasonable price lunches here. It's very good thing for us!
And that, I prefer healthy foods than heavy "power lunch" of businessmen.
Sorry about that.

 Roppongi
Hills opened and many famous restaurants came to Roppongi.
It's a pleasure thing for me and the beautiful garden is so confortable. Still,
artificial towns with tenant control sometimes made us bore. It's better to go
out the real towns like Roppongi or Azabujuban.
Review Policy
As for the review of the restaurant, I may sometimes written to the mind in
severe and frankly, to the point of "pay our own to content".
However, I know well as for the method with the review and the influence of
writing of the internet, thru my experience of writing theatre reviews for magazines
and a internet industory worker. I try to write with high attention for the words.
I am happy if my revew contributes for communication between restraurant owners
or chefs and customers, for prosperities of Tokyo's restaurant culture.
